"Specter" Lyrics:
The blindness of his spirit led his feet, towards the unknown
And those who fell in the past are here, to take over his soul (his soul)
Yet he fails, he fails to recognize the light, we are in the presence of ineffable energy
That could bring his soul back to life (back to life),
That could bring his soul, back to life
the choice is in your hands, it will bring you back to life (back to life)
the choice is in your hands, it will bring you back to life
Let it blossom and shine away, illuminate your biggest fears, and simply walk away
Let it blossom and shine away, illuminate your biggest fears, and simply walk away
yet he allows it to slip through his fingers, those trembling hands (those trembling hands), wake up and make the last step, the last step towards the end
He never stopped believing, he never stopped having faith, he never stopped believing, he never stopped
He never stopped believing, he never stopped having faith, he never stoped believing, he never stopped believing
does anyone notice progressive bands writing more and more about light, energy, and aliens?

People who have not opened their minds have had it instilled in their minds that this music is "evil" and "hateful" and yet I look at every song on MTV is about sex, money, and weed. Songs like this bring a poetic side of lyrical structure and just cuz they scream apparently it's evil. Fuck that, from music like this I've expanded my vocabulary and learned to voice my opinion easier. Go ahead, listen to Wiz Kalifa and believe that you're any better as a human being cuz you "swag." They'll learn.
