One of the coolest-looking IL-62s that ever took to the air. The Russian built IL-62 was Cubana's primary work horse given the US embargo on trade with Cuba. Pretty much gone from the skies now, those unique sounding engines will be missed.

  • I miss this wonderful aircraft.

  • Nice i love the il-62

  • The Illyushin Il-62 is one graceful aircraft. I saw a Cubana de Aviacion example like this one at Barajas International Airport in Madrid, Spain. Saw he up close too. Impressive!!

  • @luislaurencio U'r right))

  • @Panch124 most accidents are human error

  • @luislaurencio I know this) But even americans are sayin that Il-96 is more safe than their Boeings or Airbuses.

  • @Panch124 It has never crashed because there are only like 45 of them or something like that,,not like the 737 that has 4000 ,oviously more planes means more accidents

  • @luislaurencio But u're always have an Il-96-300- an one of the best world's airliners which never had crushed yet)) Am Russian))

  • @FlyVzla The back wheels needs for an empty airliner (without passengers and fuel) because when she is empty a center of gravity shits to a stern and the back wheels need to prevent a plane from tipping on stern.

  • even the new russian planes need to be stage 3 noise compliant
