After the show on 9/21 (in Columbus, OH), their audience begged for an encore. The band had already left the stage, people had already left. One of the members of Megafaun told everyone to huddle up in the middle of the floor, and he and Seth started singing this Grateful Dead cover. The rest of the band joined in, and so did some of the audience. The beat for this song (on crack as it was) was audience-improvised. The whistling. The odd handclaps near the end. Akron/Family just let everyone get into the music with their own thing. It was absolutely beautiful, just like the rest of the concert. Not much of a view, but the song is so good that I personally don't care. Please enjoy!
Beautiful. I heard them do an incredible version of "turn on your lovelight" by Bobby Blue Bland - but it was def. a DEAD inspired version. Pigpen style.
