In this day and age, Christianity has internationally come to stand more and more for one thing, anti-Islam.

Fortunately, there is a revolution of democracy unfolding in the Middle-East that has nothing to do with religion, but with revolt against oppression, a secular concern that crosses all religious divides.

There would never have been the growth of anti-Western radical Islam beginning in 1953 Iran had there not been covert US military intervention to secure oil.

The Christian religion has nothing to do with Christianity. It is a filthy institution, power hungry and corrupt. Christianity is an entirely different thing, but that is something you have to discover for yourself. When politicians say they are Christian, it means nothing. It's simply an appeal to the misguided masses. Thus, your arguments against religion are actually arguments against political motive. 99% of Christians are just secularists who go to church on Sunday.

.. There are no shortages of speech quotations from Hitler declaring his commitment to God and the Roman Catholic Church. The Vatican ate it up and supported him.

You might try to say he wasn't a 'real' Christian. What difference does it make? He used religion to motivate other Catholics to commit genocide, just as Bush used it to gain Christian Right support to attack Iraq.
