hey i suppose pics you shown are not photoshoped yet.. coz if they have to go thru post processing they will look much betta,,,, I would dont this photoshooot an hour before twilight... so that 1/250 would be enough to kill or underexpose ambient and making the rugby player more puncy...

Damn man!! that was on purpose the pinky girly environment for a though hard bodybuilded rugby player. ;-)

lovely photoso and the softbox has given some great soft lighting, the second area shoot i think was cooler as the cherry blossom is a bit feminate for a hard rugby player
