This demo was made by the previous owner on my mini, i don't know the knobs positions to create this trumpet sound, some reverb was used, try the Minimoog sound charts on the Tom Rea manual.Probably the audio compression of Youtube influence this, but maybe the early vco version is more fat than later ones, i have 5 mini and early make the difference!

Can the Little Phatty make sounds like the first 15 seconds? Or is it too weak to sound like a Model D?

Depends of your ears, everybody is different in opinion and comments, the 2 synths are completely different in project and components!

ancora se ne trova in giro qualcuno, se qualche MENTECATTO è capace di comprarsi una korg oasis o una korg m3 al posto di un minimoog , è veramente matto!!!!

diciamo che ne hanno fatto 10 mila, rimasti forse qualcosa sopra la meta', quelli prima del serial 5000 sono Rari e Fantastici

Considerando il numero limitato di esemplari, tra 20 anni varranno quanto un'appartamento !!

Ti ringrazio per i complimenti, in realtà gli esemplari che hanno più valore sono i primissimi R.A. Moog (come quello della PFM) che già oggi raggiungono cifre notevoli, trascurando ovviamente i problemi di stabilità ed altro...il suono comunque più bello è effettivamente quello degli oscillatori vecchia serie!

Quanto costa ?

Perchè non preferire una sintetizzatore normale ?

E' un esemplare del 73 che mi è costato 2300 euro, è costruto con componenti discreti, alcuni di derivazione militare, risultato: suono caratteristico tipicamente caldo, filtro passa basso da paura, qualità nel tempo (ha 35 anni !!), sicuro investimento nel tempo.

Is there any chance you could post the settings for the trumpet type sound that you have at the very beginning 5 seconds. I have tried on my Minimoog D but I seem to be missing some sort of harmonics that you have on the video. Maybe its the You Tube audio compression.

... trovarne in Italia a meno di 3.500 € è praticamente impossibile, altrimenti stai sicuro che invece di comprarsi il Voyager che ho appena preso mi sarei SCARAVENTATO contro un MODEL D!!!!! :°(
