(Fake) Rabbids the Movie trailer

Based on the Ubisoft game series and characters.
What if there was a CGI live action movie about the Ravin' Rabbids?

I'm a big fan of the various hilarious CGI shorts of the Rabbids. Yes I'm a Rayman fan too (I'm really happy to see Rayman Origins coming soon) but the Rabbids have their own charm and are so versatile they can parody nearly anything and make it laugh out loud funny. A Rabbids movie wouldn't have a lot of plot but it wouldn't need it. In my mind the perfect thing would be a loose concept of the Rabbids invading Earth with tons of skits, sketches, little interactions and parodies throughout maybe with a simple goal on the Rabbid's part to give it some structure. I wouldn't mind seeing a feature length film featuring their antics :)

Even in the first game when they enslave the world they're still more interested in playing games then doing anything cruel. Granted they cause a lot of destruction anyway, but all of it...most of it...is unintentional :)

To be honest, I think a good plot for a "Rabbids" movie would be if they arrive to earth, and they have a hard time adjusting to life without random and meaningless destruction, so they're considered threats to human life, and the US government tells the nation that they must be exterminated for the survival of everyone. However, one family realizes they mean no harm, and they then decide to help them find a better home. It would be much like "2012" with random and silly humor.

My only nitpick is about the scene at 1:18. I say this because it's the only that's evidently full CGI - the other scenes have Rabbids stand on real or realistic-looking backgrounds. The rest is brilliant: the flow of the trailer gives the idea that the Rabbid invasion would first cause panic but they would eventually be accepted among us since they're not dangerous, just adorably crazy :D

I watch it again, and again, and again. I try not to smile, but I just end up laughing each time! I can't believe nobody had yet thought of making a movie like this! A colorful, joyful parody, without that ugly toilet humor, that most parodies are filled with now. I am 100% sure that this film would be incredibly popular. Ahhh....

i this weird? i hade my rabbids app on the ipod and my rabbid was acting like he was listening to the trailer, and when the rabbids showed up, he bwaaaaad
