LOL cute and YAY BACK TO THE FUTURE!

This was April 1, 1987. It took BTTF nearly two years to make it to premium cable. Had my VCR running at 8am for the first showing (yes, I'm a geek).

Re: where do ppl find this stuff...uh, in their closets or even living rooms. Those who cherish their tape collections know exactly where they are.

I remember watching this when they did it, in utter shock, and thinking the TV station had been hijacked or something. This was really unnerving back in 1980, I remember being flooded with emotions of anger and disappointment at my most treasured TV outlet being corrupted like this. TV and HBO really meant something to people back then, not like today. If you had HBO it almost elevated you to the upper class, it was a status symbol.

Is that good to be part of some Upper class status? what about the kids who cant afford hbo?

No drama it was called FatherLand

you know what's funny though is they did the universal logo and i went "..are we watching back to the future?" without even knowing it was going to be up. I'd say i've seen the movie too many times but that's impossible.

Lol, I was just about to make a post saying the exact same thing!!! I knew it was BTTF before "Steven Spielberg Presents" even came on the screen...we are some TRUE movie buffs!
