Actually, at this beginning part of the game, gil is extremely important! You haven't had much time to acquire it and you really can't afford much stuff in the shops. Winning this festival was such a big deal!

I didn't win this Hunter's competition the first time I played but I did win it the second time and I've been winning it over and over again ever since I won the second time around!
