Your Cheating Heart (The Moonlighters)

This is an old live mono tape recording from the late seventies of "The Moonlighters" the band that my Grandpa, dad and aunt had. I transfered it to my studio recorder and mixed in my vocals. This is the first and only time I got to play with my grandpa. He was an awesome fiddle player. I wish I could have gotten to play with him and this is my chance. My dad Bill is singing and playing the guitar, my aunt Audrey is singing harmony and playing Bass guitar. Thanks for listening.

I had a great uncle......Mmmmm maybe a 3rd cousin or something like that is Wisconsin that Plays accordion. I think he lives in CHippewa falls now.

My Dad had a band for many years, they played Old Time Music..Polka's etc. He played accordian with not one lesson.. all by ear.

My mom and 5 sisters had their own band

when i was around two yrs old(1940) and

played for dances in Saskatoon Sask, Canada.

I wish i had a recording of them.

I bet those are great memories. I have cassette case that my grandpa had. He used to put in a cassette and record every night they played. Only problem is that so many of the tapes are falling apart from age or the tape recorder was on a table full of people so all you here is the people talking. but there are some real treasures if you look for them.....thanks for your support!
