Short clip of the debate between Clare Solomon, ex-ULU President, and Aaron Porter, ex-NUS president.

The debate was one of the National Union of Students' Conference 2011 fringe events and a follow-up from the Paxman Newsnight debate on 10th November 2010: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZZw2EBWtdM&playnext=1&list=PL43D5A078...

Unfortunately there isn't much footage due to the lighting conditions affecting the camera used, but Aaron Porter's main points were:

*That he did in fact support students engaged in acts of direct action such as occupations, excluding any forms of violence
*That he believes violent protest only to be necessary in the pursuit of the defence of democracy itself.
