Grundig S350DL with Randomwire Antenna.
In a sporatic early christmas shopping spree, and having been in the mood to buy myself an insanely selfish ammount of man toys, i bought the Grundig S350DL. Shorwave Radio has been a growing interest of mine over the last few years. I tried the slinky antenna but it seemed to do me more harm than good, So I settled on the Randomwire Antenna. I live in an apartment complex North of San Antonio and this area is a wooded portion of a near-by park. The 100 ft of wire was five dollars at Radio Shack, alligator clips were 99 cents and the Radio was just under a Benjamin. The drift problem is true but all you need to do is get it to stay on a freq for more than a couple of seconds and it will lock the frequency until you adjust the tuner again. I'm very pleased with it. It's brought me hours upon hours of fun and enjoyment.
What camera did you use nice video.

@midonda - That's 2145 UTC, meaning that's the time in London. If you listen to the video at 1:33 you'll hear his local time is very different.

I don't understand how it can be that bright outside at 2145 hours?

The display is digital, but is the tuning digital too? If it is analog, then does it drift a lot?
Thanks

Jesus man, you said the video had to do with a radio. Less tiptoe in the bush.

This model is called a "field radio" and you took that quite literally by taking it to a field! Thank you for sharing, very cool!
