    Well, since I've made that comment I've changed my views; pop music has pretty much always been mediocre, so music doesn't really NEED saving. However, the Black Keys are definitely a breath of fresh air in the popular music industry, and I will stand by that. To reword what I said, bands like the White Stripes and Black Keys are saving underground musician's sanity by being popular amongst all the horrible music being made today... although it isn't all horrible, of course.
