Who will hear their cries? The Affordable Care Act has already
unleashed a plague on our country: butthurt conservatives, whose
butthurt medical needs are being completely ignored.

The sound, vigorous spanking by--of all people--Justice Roberts, 30 million Americans getting coverage, and because PREEXISTING CONDITIONS ARE IN THE CONSTITUTION OR SOMETHING has resulted in a wave of redness, welts, and soreness.

Judging from symptoms displayed on Facebook, there seems to be no
balm, lotion or tincture to soothe their butthurtedness. They can't
really move--every other advanced industrial nation has universal
access to decent medical care. So that fucking sucks.

It's not about freeloading: it's about taking care of our people. It's about having insurance, if it's universal or not, that will NOT cancel you once you do get seriously ill. Unless you are a millionaire, I don't care (but more importantly, the hopitals don't care either) how much you "should" or "would" like to pay for your stay: the simple fact is there is no way in Hell you could afford to get sick or seriously injured UNLESS you had insurance and even then, no guarantee of coverage.

IMO, the democrats are the lesser of the two evils. The majority of the billionaires back the republicans, and with Citizens United it has become extremely obvious. Corporate influence should be banned. Every person needs to have the same influence, and until we start making some serious laws to ban the lobbyist and bribes we keep coming one step closer to an Oligarchy.

The worst part is that the US government actually spend more in healthcare by capita than almost every countries in the world with socialized health care, and yet they only insure a small minority of their citizens, meaning the rest have to pay twice. It's because having a universal health care also means that the government have a much higher control on costs while in the American system they pay for the overinflated market prices. Seriously, your health care system sucks real bad, America.

It's easy to hate the people making difficult decisions. Insurers generally are the most hated of them all. The fact is though, money stands for resources. When something costs a lot of money, it costs a lot of resources in one way or another. My point is that you cannot chop down every tree, burn all the gasoline and produce tonnes of food to save a single human life. If this makes me heartless, so be it. Tell me, how is Obamacare going to fix this? Enforcing insurance? Like that will help.
