Remains of the Life

As you may have guessed, with a nick-name like "Trocaria" yes, I am in the funeral services.

The art of the cemetery has always fascinated and moved me since childhood. I was blessed enough to live near a 19th century cememtery, one that had real monuments not the flat to the ground business that is mandated now for the benefit of the grounds keeper, not the family.
The majority of the photos here are from cemeteries in southern CA. Also represented is the state of IA.
Enjoy this little stroll through my virtual garden of stone. And remember: when visiting the real thing, take only photos and leave only your prayers behind.
MUSIC: Again, from the incredible "Gods and Generals" soundtrack, we have track 17,"Let us Cross Over the River" and track 4, "Loved I not Honor Anymore".
The CD continues to inspire me with every note.
