A Gift For Teaching Visits Ron Clark Academy

In celebration of our 10th birthday, A Gift For Teaching (AGFT) threw a surprise party for all the public school teachers in Orlando. Teachers who attended were able to enter a raffle that gave away $20,000 in prizes. The grand prize being a trip to Atlanta, Georgia's Ron Clark Academy (RCA).

Thanks to a generous gift from the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation, AGFT was able to take nine teachers and four staff members for training at one of the most inspirational schools in the nation. While there they met hundreds of teachers from around the country and observed instruction from a variety of RCA's teachers, including Ron Clark himself.

Listen as they share how they were notified that they'd won the prize and what this trip meant to them. For all, it reignited their passion for teaching and inspired them to be better for their students.
