good left hand round about 0:33 i like the way you bring out the cross rhythms.
i agree that the indicated tempo for the prelude is outrageous and not necessarily desirable.

I'm glad i've heard this! I'm currently learning this piece, and this sounds really musical and exciting, while not being at the tempo that shostakovich put, which quite frankly is bordering on ridiculous! It seems a little more achievably now!
