Raquy and the Cavemen performing their drum composition "Sijak" in St. James Hall in Vancouver. Thanks to Pepe Danza and Robert Benaroya at Caravan world rhythms!
I really enjoy the driving, steady rhythm of this. The doumbek has a nice, particularly sharp sound to it. The mixing in of the very large turkish doumbek and the cymblals is interesting. Very nice work. I always enjoy seeing musicians who you can tell are truly enjoying their playing :)
