He came, like he said he would.
God, I had missed seeing him in normal clothes, not at his office, not having to be so formal with him.
The doorbell rang, and I sprung to the door, having being dressed half an hour ago, and eagerly waiting.
He smiled, that crooked smile, taking my breath away as usual.
'Can I come in?' he asked.
'Sure!' I said almost breathlessly. He walked in as I held the door open for him. His white shirt and denim jacket made him look like amazing, flawless.
'You have a really nice place.' He said, looking around.
'Thanks.' I replied, too busy admiring him.
He turned around, and smiled at me, and I smiled back.
We ended up going to the movies, and we watched Inception.
It turns out Rob was a Leo DiCaprio fan as well, so we had plenty to talk about when the movie finished.
'You hungry?' I asked.
'Kinda. You?' he replied.
'Kinda as well. You like pizza?' I asked.
'Love.' He said.
We ordered a large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, and ate and talked, while watching Titanic.
'I still remember what you wore to the prom in high school you know.' He said.
'Really?'
'Yeah, it was that long blue dress with that black rose. You um, looked really pretty that day.' He said, turning slightly red at that last bit.
'Um, thanks? I remember what you wore. A black and white tux, looking oh-so stunning, waiting for someone to dance with you.' I replied.
He laughed.
'And then Ms Cook asked me to dance with her, and I was thinking 'Holy mother..' But, let me tell you, I would have much preferred to have danced with you.' He said, laughing.
I laughed as well, remembering. They entire student body laughed at them, and his face was completely red. Not to mention a picture of them was posted in the school's daily newsletter.
'Tell me a secret, and I'll tell you one of mine.' I said.
'Alright, um..... I'm actually a hopeless romantic.' He said, 'Roses, opening doors for girls, everything corny and weird.'
I laughed.
'Sensitive guy...'
'Your turn' he said.
After about, 10 minutes or so, I was down to the one secret I had kept, hoping that I wouldn't have to say it.
'Come on, it can't be that bad.' He said.
'But it is!' I said, feeling my face go red.
'Just say it, and get it over with then!' he said.
Alright then.
I inhaled.
'I've had a crush on you since high school. Yeah, I told you it was stupid.' I said.
He didn't say anything for about a minute, he only took my hand in his, making my heart beat 2 times faster, and my breathing speed up.
'So, what do you want to do now then?' I asked him, looking at his brilliant face for the first time in what had seemed like years.
He looked up at me as well, only it was as if there was a different light to his face. It was as if he was, glowing or something, and he looked right into my eyes, his eye penetrating through as if he could see into my soul.
'This.' He said, his voice incredibly seductive.
Then, he lent in to kiss me.
There's only one word to describe it:
