Don't watch if you ride a Harley (Rant)

So what do you do when your riding through some of the most beautiful scenery Arizona has to offer? Well, if you're like me you go off on a rant about cruisers.

@HeavyHitter5150 You're not kidding. This video is a year and a half old and is the only video of mine that ever gets comments. Cats vs. dogs, republicans vs. democrats, pc's vs. mac's, and harley's vs. sportbike's, the never ending arguments.

We saw sooo many Harleys on that trip. It really got old. I was shocked that we were pretty much the only sportbikes out there. I dont get the whole Harley thing either. I'm not a Harley hater but I dont understand why people spend obnoxious amounts of money on them.

This whole no gear thing here in AZ completely freaks me out.

Ah well...to each their own :)

@davidhowellca That's what I was commenting on. I don't care what someone rides, or what they wear while riding it. I'm just amazed at the ratio of cruisers to other bikes in AZ. Yeah, the scenery through there is stunning.

@996artichoke ive ridden both and the sportbikes are much more comfy. Im 6'2" @ 230lbs. just dont get a seat thats made of .500" styrofoam on ur sportbike LOL

IIRC Harleys are made to cross the distances you see in America.

i luv sport bikes. just like a cruiser style more. and sitting up in a cruiser bike fits the cage free ideal more so than a sport bike. the rush is amazing, but near huging the bike with your face behind the windshield isnt at all relaxing to me. thats a position for the drag strip or something, hence the name 'sport'bike. cruisers are exactly like they sound. you cruise on a rolling couch that has the deep rumble of a sweet v twin. even then, harley has some major potential for performacne.

harley has a near monopoly on cruisers due to the fact that they are well priced (for a cruiser) and are extremely reliable and comfortable as well. not to mention such a rich history of both the cultural aspect and the racing aspect.

uncomfortable? ive been on both. cruisers are more comfortable. probably because you sit up in a more relaxed position. and the vibration thing is bs. no gear? its called a leather jacket an a skull cap. you dont need any more since cruisers dont go 150 and dont do wheelies

Have you ever sat on a V-Rod? They are extremely comfortable.

They are all the same when a car pulls out in front of you ! And they all look and feel the same when you pick them up off the ground. Have your bike were it needs to be at the time it needs to be there.

@ziggy149 Don't confuse comfort for being numb. Arms out straight lose blood circulation, ape hangars are worse, vibration puts your hands and ass to sleep, loud pipes and engine fatigue your mind long distance, poor brakes, tire compounds, excess weight, it's far from a touring bike with full windshield / fairing, heated grips, better riding posture, quiet and smooth engine, half the money. This is just a bar bike for show.

Your crazy if you think a gixxer is comfortable hardlys some are very comfy you are just naive.
