@ShShShSharina Personally, I thought of SM as a company who allowed their artists to be more experimental back then, since they were still a company experimenting around. While the company's directors/producers came up with a lot of ideas, a lot also came from the artists themselves. I think when they saw the failure with Shinhwa's 1st album (i.e. Hae gyul sah), they saw the importance of not aiming for a 2nd H.O.T. Totally agree that creativity went full force after leaving tho.
