In this video clip The Hammer Man Of Golf demonstrates how he trains to develop the flattest downswing in golf. He tees up the ball in this video 15 inches high and hits it dead straight with an extremely flat downswing. He used to play lots of baseball so he takes his athletic experience and brings it to his golf game. When he hits a golf ball off a 4 inch tee it seems relatively close to the ground. It really is all relative. With his drive he usually stands way off the ball and uses Centrifugal force to drive the ball. His driver is 48 inches long with a XX flex. By using lead tape on the head he brings the swing weight to G5. This allows for a greater MOI and a tremendous amount of mass to the strike of the golf ball. Watch the golf shaft in slow motion and take a look at the lag of the club head. With this type of action itis easy to see why this swing produces a beautiful draw.
Read the book Whole Brain Power that he has written. It gives lots of tips on tapping into the brains unlimited potential to learn difficult athletic skills. It has lots of exercises that are recommended that increase focus, ambidexterity, fine motor control, improved reflexes as well as functional strength improvement.

  • @ryanncourt Ummmmmm, sorry, you're wrong. He's playing teeball.

  • Are you jack Ham?

  • You should start your backswing with hands in close (arms hanging straight down). Turn arms and shoulders back together to get your arms horizontal, wrists fully set and club shaft vertical. THEN, as you shift your weight to your front leg, the shaft flattens, the butt points outside the target line, and as your hips turn toward the target you bring the clubhead to the ball from the inside WITHOUT any sort of handsy manipulation. Watch any modern tour player like Ricky Fowler.

  • What's your Club Head Speed? I'm a beginner and mine's about 85 mph but I can't buy a straight tee shot with my driver or 3W and my 5W is hit or miss. Your swing seems to me to be like an underhand baseball swing... is that accurate? I'd like to learn your technique without the one hand release.

  • Where all do you have lead tape on that sledgehammer of a driver?

  • Hahahahahaha tee it up 15 inches high? Yeah tell a 30 handicapper that, hahahaha

  • @watertonrivers It is a 48 inch Graman shaft with a xx stiffness. There is alot of lead tape on the head so that is why the shaft flexes so much. Thanks for your interest._Hammer
