Snowdon Mountain Railway, Llanberis, Snowdonia.
Sunday 15th August 2010.
Loco's featured: No. 2 "Enid", No. 3 "Wyddfa", No. 6 "Padarn", No. 11 "Peris" & No. 12 "George".

My first visit to the Snowdon Mountain Railway, starting off at Llanberis Station, No. 12 "George" fires up & sets off for the summit. Next, No. 3 "Wyddfa" also departs Llanberis, but not without a quick stop to allow some last minute passengers to board. Next is at Snowdon Summit, as No. 11 "Peris" arrives (note the weather difference from Llanberis!). Next, at the halfway loop, No. 12 "George" arrives, has a quick pause, & sets off for the Summit. In the last video, No. 6 "Padarn" is seen battling up the mountain up gradients as steep as 1 in 5, approaching the quarter way loop, stopping very briefly & setting off. The last 2 videos are taken onboard No. 2 "Enid".
