@namook1965 I like so much what you say about diversity!
"Humanity may be likened unto the vari-colored flowers of one garden. There is unity in diversity. Each sets off and enhances the other's beauty." ('Abdu'l-Bahá, Divine Philosophy, p. 25)

Over 1000s of years central asia was the centre stage of Eurasian culture and trade. I find the culture and history of the region, especially Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan fascinating. One of the signs of richness of a land's culture is its diversity. As such, it would be a shame if Pushtun culture were to smother all other cultures of Afghanistan. I hope your people will keep singing your songs and keep speaking your language. Wish you all the best

@namook1965 My friend, one day the cold-blooded Chinese will set your people free from oppression. I was born in Afghanistan and for the past 300 years, the people of Afghanistan have been oppressed by foreigners from Britain, the former Soviet Union, Saudi Arabia, Iran and the cowardly nation of Pakistan. So don't worry, because China and all the other oppressors of the world's days are numbered. "Go Tibet"

Wow! What a beautiful music and dance. Nice costume too.
Keep your tradition going for you have the freedom.
I am a Tibetan and we have difficulty keeping our tradition because we are now ruled by Chinese.
