  • That's a great accent! Seriously, I'm not making fun.

Those buses you mentioned outside, are they data buses or address buses?

    TeeHee!

    Best wishes!

  • @MatchstalkMan Hi thanks for liking my accent. I actually hate it myself :) I think it sounds like German accents to British ears. Although Dutch isn't as 'loud' or 'sharp' as German it has some resemblances. In my video I was trying to show that the thin client doesn't make any sound but outside my window is a Bus resting place (endpoint) and so busses drive away quite frequent there. So the Busses I meant was public transport LOL

  • @maicod I have German friends and their accents are quite harsh. There's a softness to the Dutch accent, especially pronouncing the letter 'S'. Sean Connery also has this quality in his voice.

I knew that you meant public transport - it was just a computer nerd joke related to the video content.

    :-)

  • @MatchstalkMan hehhe no problem :) yw

  • He goed uitgelegt hoor!

  • Thanx for this. Interesting stuff.

  • good show my friend awsome little setup

  • Internet Explorer 6? Backstreet Boys - Everybody? Did you get stuck in 1999? :)

Seriously though, CF cards are super fast when reading, even faster than hard drives for random reads. However, you sometimes get hiccups when you try to write. (And many programs do a lot of small writes.)

  • @SgtThom will one need to configure the installation to prevent Windows 7 from writing to file system every so often, or will it do it out of the box?

  • @averagemale2000

Don't worry... You can simply buy an Windows 7 to combat this issue!!

  • XP will wearout the CF card in about a month of running as those cards have a limit on number of writes and XP does a lot or writing of swap files and such, you have been warned
