New batteries work OK, glow plugs don´t.

  • @matetsku : Hehkutin kyllä, kahesti peräkkäin. Ei vaan -27C ole oikeen tehoa hehkuilla.

    Toisen kerran hirmupakkasella otettiin imuputki irti ja painettiin siitä toholla sisään, johan läks.

  • Näkyy hehku olevan rikki. Netissä on tuon vehkeen ohjekirja. Hehkun valo palaa alle -4 asteen lämpötilassa 20s!

    Aika hyvä suoritus, -27 ja ilman hehkua käyntiin

    A diesel engine doesn't have sparkplugs to ignite the air/fuel mixture like a gasoline engine does. The ignition occurs when the fuel/air mixture is compressed to 20 times atmospheric pressure. But when a diesel engine is cold, it needs a little help . The glow plugs pre-warm the cylinders so that combustion can take place.Afterthe engine has started, the glow plugs will shut down
