1982 Irina Moiseyeva Andrei Minenkov Worlds FD (Bolero)

A great deal of hub-bub was made about the choice of music by Torvill and Dean at the 1984 Olympics (some Russian coaches are on record as opposing it as a rules violation), but it seemed to be a good choice for a Russian couple just two years before. M&M, many times World medalists, were able this time to knock off an American team (Bloomberg/Seibert) for the Bronze medal. There is quite a difference in choreographic approach to the same music (T&D vs. MM).
