Valentine's day is originally a holiday celebrating the life of St. Valentine, a Christian in ancient Rome who was killed for marrying Christians, thus the connection to romance.
All holidays have been extremely secularized and commercialized. If you're going to reject one without being hypocritical, reject them all.

Plz thats nothing to think about, why should u be a nerd for beeing with ur mum ?? I WISH i could hang out with my mum and im 18 years old :P but we are both lazy to hang out outside so we hang out at home instead, belive me its the best ever to hang out with ur parents :P They are fun even if they can be embaressing sometimes

Valentines day for a me... candle light dinner good movie and cuddle time on the couch with my sweetheart. what else could you ask for? A really cold night? makes cuddling more fun.

All my Valentines Days were lame. The cutest thing that a girl did for me, was give me a card. Only the past Valentines Day I had a GF at the time, but she didn't like Valentines so she went home for that holiday and I stayed at my house. Other than that, never had a GF on Valentines Day, thus the cutest thing was recieving a card.
