Tehreek Haqooq e Mianwali 4th July 2011 Peaceful Rally- gun shots by inefficient DPO Punjab Police

On 4th July, 2011, a peaceful rally of people of Mianwali-Tehreek Haqooq-e-Mianwali (THM) was walking in Mianwali area in a peaceful mood without any arms, stones, or any sticks on motorcycle, van & most of people on foot but when rally reached at Sargodha-Multan Diversion, police opened shelling of tear gas on people & van of leaders and openened direct fire on innocent people's of Mianwali by the Punjab Police by the order of District Police Officer (Waqas Nazeer-DPO-Mianwali) due to this direct firing by Punjab Police resulted death of 02 innocents' people of Mianwali. At spot it was observed that there was not such serious situation and peoples & rally with leaders of Tehreek Haqooq-e-Mianwali in van while speaking, were walking in peaceful manner without any arm, stones or sticks in hand but intentionally gun fires was opened by punjab police, although District Government Mianwali, Punjab Government and Federal Government of Pakistan had already been month ago informed about the peaceful rally from Mianwali to Chasma by the Tehreek Haqooq-e-Mianwali. And is only negative propaganda spread by the administration to their inability to handle such rally .Although rally was 40 kms away from Chasma and it could be manage but due to inexperience CSS new DPO Waqas Nazeer had not been able to handle the peaceful rally and not arrange any other way. At spot it was seen that no stone were thrown first but when police opened fire directly on peaceful rally and started shelling tear gas on peaceful rally and it could be watched in video clearly that at the time of firing & shelling tear gas by police the people are looking in peaceful manner without any throwing stones, arm or any stick in hand and road on which police was standing in wall shape there is no stone or stick had been seen road is clean which shows that rally did not throw any stone first but police started direct firing & shelling tear gas without any reason due to which 02 men, Khadam Hussain and Mehr Khan injured seriously who later on dead and many injured then this unjustified dangerous deed by punjab police excited the peaceful people of Mianwali then they started throwing stones over police who was fully loaded with protection shield and wearing bullet proof jacket due to which there was not any danger for injury by the stones and it is natural thing that protestors throw the stones over police in all through the world, so, similarly protestors of Tehreek Haqooq-e-Mianwali who were participating in peaceful manner just for demand of human basic rights and in video it could be watched that peoples from all walks of life were participating including common people, students, children, government employers, social workers, religious scholars, political worker of all political parties of Pakistan in peaceful manner. Their main demands were included the royalty over Chasma & Jinnah power plant, front of a college police line, construction of New Jail, all precious land in acres is lying under police, jail, and other walls in kms on which Universities, Medical College, Engineering College, Cricket Stadium, for public could be constructed but only police is seen althrough the Mianwali and PM, CM-Punjab never bother to look to this poorest District and it could lead to serious conditions in country if such action were taken but inefficient administration. DPO should be aged experience officer of Punjab who could handle such sensitive issue because protest against any discrimination is right of people of Pakistan. Mianwali is such district from where talented people came who win the name of PAKISTAN in world, in the fields of cricket, hockey, singing, scholars, army and police officers. In Mianwali, it will better to appoint the DPO of District Mianwali, since these peoples are of strong nerves and could handle such sensitive situation. A less age newly CSS officer on the post of DPO Mianwali could not understand the nature of people of Mianwali. If a senior police was there then he could handle and such sorrowful incident was not occur. It was noticed that death of people of Mianwali goes on the shoulders of DPO-Mianwali and inexperience Punjab Police. Ranger mistake in Karachi demoralized due to inefficient officers and officials which demoralized army in the eyes of people of Pakistan and now inefficient police DPO created a separate trouble for government. In Mianwali, on 4th July, 2011, punjab police was looking like Indian forces to kill innocent Kashmiries. There was a complete scene of Occupied Kashmir and this deed of government defamed the government of Pakistan in the World in respect of violating the basic human rights and violation of freedom of speech & protest in democracy.
