The U.S. is planning to spend around $700 billion on the military alone this year. Lawmakers have decided on $38 billion of spending cuts, but none are coming out of the country's defense budget.

  • @thedevos1981 Average Americans are scared of their government, scared of the IRS, the FBI, and the rest of the acronyms coming after them - there will be a tipping point however, when that will occur is anyone's guess, but it will happen here as well. There will be a point when the majority will wake up from their Satellite TV and video game induced slumber and say, hey, fuck these idiots, they work for us!

  • Americans are getting raped by the government-military-industrial-complex-banksters.

  • @locolalo1364 You said that "...most idiots here on RT are craving for a war against America..." How come?

  • with neighbors like Canada/ Mexico and 2 large Oceans... some ppl in the USA must be fucking paranoid to spend more than the rest of the world combined!

    terrorist

sure those 19 evildoers are just a poor excuse for what has become a new Empire exporting "democracy" to the middle east ... and will soon sell us the NEW WORLD ORDER!!

  • let these Americans starve to death with their wars, if those republicans and niggers do not want to stop spending on wars than let them live in poverty and shit.

  • A clip I took from the economist.

"How many soldiers, planes, tanks, rifles, etc can China buy with it's defense budget? How many can the U.S. buy? I suspect the price of a soldier in China is very small whereas in the U.S. they are very expensive, when total compensation and veterans benefits are considered. In other words,China gets a hell of lot more bang for its buck than we do. How about a new bar graph on that basis?"

Military is Cheap in China, like most things there.

    USA - U Cut U lose

  • Chinese money spent in China on anything, including weapons made in China should be just like the beer, food and everything else there. $1 buys 6x more in China than US, so to keep up or stay ahead you have to spend 6x more.

Is this difficult math? It sucks, but I'm in no hurry to become Chinese, so I suggest we stay ahead in this department. (More) Its not simple like u think...

  • RT may have put this out but it's sooooooooooooooooo true. Between the Pentagon the banksters and tycoons- it's a new age of robber barons

  • @xjlmt My $1 Chinese calculator says 114.3x6 = 685.8

Thats conservative. Using the ACTUAL 6.5:1 exchange rate, I get 742.95 Billion.

That means that in practical terms the Chinese are probably buying and doing alot more "stuff", military wise.

The price of tea is cheaper in China. I think the USA would be very stupid to let the tip of its sword get dull.

  • @phuckRT A math genius you are not, Tard.

  • Lets look at those numbers.

    USA 687

    China 114

    These are dollars, not Yuan.

Yuan to Dollar exchange rate 6.5:1

Since 1 dollar buys about 6 dollars worth of beer in China, and 1 dollar buys about 6 dollars worth of food and (everything else)

Can I assume that if they are making their own weapons that 1 dollar buys six dollars worth of weapons? 114.3x6=685

So,China is buying 685.8 billion worth of defense with their deflated currency?

USA should spend more, not less.
