While I think the Day without a Gay thing sounds interesting in theory, I think it wouldn't work in practice, and is a bit pointless and petty.
It wouldn't work because not every gay person is going to be able to do it. And gays are a minority group anyway between 5-10% of people are gay. Slash that percentage in half for all the gays who aren't out or are still children, and then halve it again for all those people who can't carry it out, can't be bothered, or don't see how it will work.

You're lucky. All I got was a pink T-shirt with the company logo on it. I really wanted a pink slip or at least a half way decent camisole, but nooooooo!
