為什麼大家聽到這首歌都先想到政治？我想到的卻是台灣這塊土地上­的污染與不當開發。雖然幾十年來台灣社會已漸漸有了關心環境的聲­音，但是污染我們這塊土地的事件卻從未間歇。希望大家在關心政治­之餘，也多少花些心思關心台灣的環境，關心我們所生長的這塊土地­。

I , Joseph who is proud of being a Taiwanese forever. Formosa is the country I only admit and love. China is the country that most of Taiwanese ancestors came from but not all of ours. New Taiwanese came from China,Vietnam,Cambodia,Indones­ia........ We cannot only emphasize that we came from China. It is not fair and legal to treat Taiwanese who came from other countries not China. Taiwan is our country definitely not China.
