  • Should have some new stuff up soon. At the least I'll have a meteor flow video up by December and a demo of antidpin one handed rotor flowers. Glad this video helped.

  • thanks for this video, I saw it and smiled, because I have been waiting for one like it, and your one of my favorite. I might post a video soon of meteor broken down for poi spinners (lessons in how to spin poi, with 2 handles, as if it were meteor) what do you think?

  • I think making a video about one handed (meteor style) poi would be great! Hopefully that would spark more interest in meteor amongst the poi community as I think for many the original hurdle of learning the one handed weaves and bf keeps many people from learning this awesome prop.

In your video would you be linking the handles together or gripping each handle in one hand?

  • Hey, you're beard is normal, you've lost weight, it's almost like your handsome now! Score!

  • You just know all the right things to say to make a guy feel all warm and fuzzy inside don't ya Meg

  • good to see you back, nice video :) you can always ad a fish tail element to weave:))

  • Thank you dude!

Even though fish tails are a bit beyond the scope of this video they are definitely a great variation on meteor weaves. Due to the flexible nature of the prop not only can you do the staff style fishtails but by allowing both ends to wrap around your wrist you can even pull off multi beat fishtails which is just so cool and totally not possible with a staff. Score one for the flexible props! ; )

  • Thanks for this, and incredibly useful video, any plans for more tutorials in the future? This helped me a great deal, thanks again.

  • also forgot to ask how heavy should the ends of my meteor be?

  • ah love it just started meteor couple days ago and cant stop thx for the vid : ) its awesome

  • I will definitely make one then, and I would be gripping with one hand.

I havent found a good way to link my handles that allows me transition quickly from one hand back to two, it you have any suggestions or know a way to link that handles I would love to see it, it might just make my life much easier.

  • Love it! Will try and wrap my head around this stuff. I haven't played with a meteor in months but this is a lot of fun new stuff to learn :)

One thought for future vids, though: the text is a little small and hard to read in a few of the interstitial cards.

  • Exactly :) and contact meteor is something mesmerizing :)

  • Yeah chris!
