the only solution to all of this is space exploration. if we dont put are money into space, we are doomed.

If I were in Russia, I would be building more nukes, right about now. Lots and lots of people will have their heads turned over that way.

How would you bathe or keep clean with so little water? youd have a bunch of stinky people walking around.

so it's 2040 and they've not taken into account disease, war, political changes, economic collapse or anything else really

Desalination plants use a SHIT load of electricity. 40% of a plants expense is it's electricity bill. So yeah, I'm sure in the future when there are black outs those will be thriving... really? this video is liberal climate change bullshit. It doesn't cover currency collapses or hyper inflation. heh.

Wait, wait, wait. You're saying we won't have enough money in 2030 to build a water pipeline from San Diego to Las Vegas, but yet we currently DO have enough money to build a tar sands pipeline from Alberta all the way to Houston?
Mind. Blown.

The scariest thing is no matter how developed and advanced we feel we are. We're still animals and we will return to that way of operating/thinking when we're too lazy (as a species, as a unit) to find and amicable solution to our problems.. Sure there's still war over resources today but there's a lot we take for granted and when we have to fight for those things. The world will be dark, dark place indeed.
It's a scary thought.

And sure, we might be in that same spot many years from now, too hot, we'll need to get out. But we might not have a plan at all.. Sure it's highlighted now, which is a good thing, but it's one thing for that frog to just jump out when it's too hot, quite another for a whole species to get off a planet that we can't control and can no longer afford to tweak to our needs when resources become limited.
2030- Some of us built solar panels, some of worked on hyper-efficient cars, and some of us... played Simcity.

@mikelew007 ... so true ... I have several friends in their thirties and are even in relationships and they spend hours every day playing X Box .. I have found out they aren't even having sex that often ... I have been telling them put down the X Box and start playing the Sex Box you morons ... is it me? ... I don't get the kids today but I'm starting to not relate to my generation either ...
