The Emerging Church is a seeker friendly Christian movement touted to be the "New" Christianity for the Post-Modern World. But is the Emergent Church really a fresh approach to teaching sound doctrine, or is it part of the great end times apostasy predicted in the Bible?
Speaking out against false doctrine can bring about negative reactions. After all, if there is some good in the Emerging Church, shouldn't we just focus on the good and pay little attention to the bad? Roger answers this question from a biblical perspective.

Well, to understand my point of view, you must understand that I believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God rather than the product of man's tradition. This is best evidenced by the prophetic nature of the Bible as it relates to prophecy already fulfilled and prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes.

Does it mean anything thing that these traditions when they were one....wrote the Bible? I enjoy your comments, your well thought out, we just disagree on a number of points.

What good is there in "reaching people" only to deceive them and lead them away from the truth? I agree that the anti-biblical practices adopted over the centuries by the Roman and Orthodox churches arose out of a perceived need to reach people (i.e. become popular). However, one can clearly see that this has led to the Catholic/Orthodox rejection of the biblical gospel in favor of man's tradition.

So, the RCC and the Orthodox churches practices have emerged into the Evangel. churches. Is that your point? So faith understanding is a circular process is it not? That your so-called pagan practices developed out of need to reach people were they were at, they're culture, they're times....may be that might play into it?
