The competition between the best players in the league is hitting a climax before the Big Game begins as the consumers' choice for the FedEx Air and Ground players of the year are announced. As part of Super Bowl week, award winners', Brett Favre and Fred Taylor paid a visit to the Phoenix Children's Hospital. During the visit, the hospital received a check for $25,000 in the names of each of the winning players from FedEx as part of their partnership with the NFL.
The players spent time visiting with the children, signing autographs, and even tossing the ball around. As the hype of the game ramps up, it's always nice to see the NFL's best taking time out to visit and brighten the day of some very deserving children.
It's about time that one of the NFLs best backs gets some recognition. Fred Taylor would be a legend had he played in NY, Dallas, etc... Thanks for everything Fred.
Fred Taylor = Canton bound.
