here we are in Ruskin park (south london)bandstand doing some primitive one-man-band sound.
Am usually busking around London but playing here in the park for
the fun of it joined by some random children curious to know what
the funny sounds were...

wooden cheery wood didge made by Bart of SunDidjes in Brighton, small metal drum from morocco,
african Djembe drum from ireland, clapsticks and an egg shaker...

and the sunniest day of all "summer" 2008!


captured these early moments b4 the cam battery went flat and therefore missed the Egyptian healer lady

who turned up and asked for a song 2b bee played in honour of her wolf/huskie mix petfriend 'dog' that

had died the previous day, she howled along like a wolf braying at the full moon and shed a tear for her

missing canine companion. it was quite a moment... its amazing the way music brings people together and

makes interesting things happen...

  • Hi Guys,back in the late 50's we'd conga around that bandstand with crowds of about 200,days long gone I know,that music your making is part of the land of australiaand great,just up the park a bit stands the facade of the house where Mendolsohn wrote the spring song,and james proposed to kathie in 1959. painting my face now in response to your music1.
