Arafat & PLO withdrew from Lebanon in 1982,but the war escalated & lasted til '90.The Lebanese militias r 90% guilty for Leb'n's destruction.Historians prove that the source of the '75 war was the political,economic & cultural disintegration btwn the Muslim & Christian Lebanese.PLO played no role in:'78 Zahle Kataeb vs Syria,'80 Ahrar vs kataeb,'83 Druze vs LF Jabal-war,'87 Druze vs Amal,'87 Hobieka-Geagea war,Amal vs Hizballah '88,Aoun vs LF '89,Aoun vs Syria '90 etc.Why blame Arafat?

@debel101 Arafat's father is from the Husseini clan,his mother from the Kudwa clan-the most noble & rich families in Palestine.He & his family owned companies,real estate & property in Egypt,Jordan,Kuwait.He's not an angel,& in the 70's & 80's he used to distribute food,water & aid to the inhabitants of south Lebanon,Christians & Muslims.PLO never resorted to massacres like Amal or Kataeb,& when fighters did warcrimes he trailed & punished them.We didnt chose to come to Lebanon,we were forced.

@debel101 Arafat has an Engineering degree from Cairo university;-unlike Geagea who calls himself "Dr" althu he has no degree.Arafat's billions nourished Lebanon's economy & the PLO defended the lebanese & Lebanese soil as Israel invaded Lebanon in 1982.As Arafat left Lebanon,& withdrew his cash from Lebanese Banks,the Lira sank & yr economy collapsed.Most of the Lebanese people & political parties supported him.U must be a Kataeb or an Amal traitor.Arafat is a legend but the Kataeb r criminals
