My 12 month old daughter has to have this test done next week. I am really hoping that its not painful for her! She is so young that she wont understand. And i am PRAYING for a negative result! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you that have CF!

I had this done when I was about 2....Thankfully, the test came out negative, however, I still pray for all of those who do have CF and work to find a way of simplifying this disorder.

Symptoms and severity of CF nicely correlates with oxygen levels in cells. This is the conclusion of modern research. i had this done when i was about 6. i dunno if they screwed something up or what but it hurt like hell! it felt like i was being burned :/

my doctor threatened me with a feeding tube (yes I have cf), thats when I started gaining weight. now I'm heaver than some of my friends my friends my height

He came to my church and my mom introduced me to him and told him I have CF. He talked to them for a little while, they signed some paper work, then he took some pictures of me. I'm on the trailer and everything. Oprah's dad signed a painting of me and Miranda Lambert too. Good news about the feeding tube, I GOT IT TAKEN OUT! I had surgery a few days ago to close up the hole.

so i dont remember it...may i ask why this test was so bad???

No prob about the feeding tube. I got it taken out a few months ago and had surgery two days ago to close up the hole. Yes, I'm in mortal pain but it'll get better.
