You obviously stated that you had a problem with rich Asians and Anglo aussies. The university has a right to set the conditions of entry like every other university. Go and whinge to the govenment for the amount of funding to higher education. As previously stated if you don't like it then leave and apply for another uni but in your case that wouldnt matter. There are plenty of universities out there for potential candidates. So don't hate, just congratulate.

Im not a rich Anglo nor Asian yet I like many thousands of students EARNED our place at UNSW through good high school grades. So don't go blaming the rich for your problems. If you don't like it, its plain simple-LEAVE and join the rest of the rejects at Sydney uni.

oh and the whole rich dumb anglo celtic/asian thing? other than making you sound like a bigot racist. whereabouts are these students? other than perhaps a portion of the law and med students MOST OF US A DIRT POOR LIVING OFF AUSTUDY AND WORKING 2 JOBS TO PAY RENT, BUY FOOD AND GO TO UNI.

for someone who has completed a double degree you dont seem to be well educated on the situation of most of uni students around the country. nor do you seem to have a basic perception of their existance.

oh and one more slightly important point these Foreign full fee paying students inject upwards of $1.68 BILLION into our economy for their education alone this doesnt take into consideration any other expeses such as housing, leisure and food. keep in mind that many of these student dont work, some do, but many dont and the money comes from overseas stimulating our economy.

Oh and btw there is an abundance of jobs in australia, infact more jobs than members of the workforce. the entire minerals resources sector IS PREVENTED from expanding at its preferred rate because it doesnt have people to fill the positions. there are jobs out thee so instead of whinging have a real look at the situation

0% unemployment... interesting concept. though non-existant in practice.

Why? because 4%UE IS effectivly Full employment. a very simple and easy concept that is taught in highschool economics.

perhaps try reading the SMH and the ross gittens column, might open your eyes to the performance of the national economy.

Dahhhhh, thats why I stated previously about taking your frustration out on the government NOT the university. Government funding to higher education is the reason why the university needs international students. What do you expect to happen? to stop international fees and let the university fall apart? Full employment? Perhaps you like many job seekers out there just dont LOOK hard enough. A job doesn't come to you served on a plate. You go out and FIND it instead of whinging about it.

Look lame brain, the reason UNSW has so many overseas full fee paying students like your self is because the Federal Governmnet doesn't not give enough money to higher education.
