The fabulous blue sparkle Gretsch drumkit (purchased in 1963, and still in excellent condition) used on the 45 rpm record (and subsequent CD’s) is for sale; contact Dr. Norman Prinsky (find his e-mail address at Augusta State University).

For the complete story of the 45 rpm record and three different subsequent CD’s on which it appeared, see Dr. Norman Prinsky’s website at Augusta State University (find the site by Googling). The same song with photos of the Rumors may be found elsewhere on Youtube . . .

I hate that ugly mask, but damn, I love this 1965 gem! Straight out of the Dodge Dart Era! The Rumors were this rockin' garage band that formed in 1963 in LA. Damn, but they were GOOD! I just LOVE this song!

I love this 1965 Garage Band classic from the Dodge Dart Era! This is a DAMN GOOD song!
This is great! Interestingly enough, the bassist/vocalist was my television and film instructor some semesters ago. I had to do some google searches; but it looks like I finally found his old band he mentioned in class once.

I like this! The concept is cute, and it has a lot of energy to it. Great choice of music too!
