Melanie's March: The St. Louis Group

Our band of 11 activists who knew Melanie Shouse personally met up Feb. 24th in Washington, D.C., with others from St. Louis--including Steve Hart, Melanie's partner in life--plus eight hardy souls who marched 135 miles from Philadelphia on foot and hundreds of others to deliver the message that it's time to finish health care reform. We were met by six senators and other dignitaries who vowed to finish the fight for Melanie and all the millions who suffer and dies needlessly because of what the status quo ignorantly calls the "best health care system in the world."
