Hey Guys,

I have been trying to find an Fsk Spitfire in Australia for the best part of a year now but it is impossible without buying one overseas and paying half as much again for the postage so I decided to modify a GWS Spitfire to be more scale instead. This is the first flight. The elevators were too touchy at first (note the zoom after launch) until I switched to low rates. Other than that only a couple of clicks of down elevator were required. Note the stall about halfway through - very gentle with no wing drop. I have scale ailerons instead of the full span GWS ones, lengthened nose, internal elevator horn, revised cannon bulges, fixed wing, fully covered with .75 oz cloth... Align RCM-BL450S running an align 9 X 6 propeller. Most of the flight was conducted under half throttle!

Now that the first flight was so succesful I will add underwing radiators, cannon and paint!

BTW Bear with the video, the camerawomen is still learning but she got much better towards the end!
