@thedude19766 Sorry, that is wrong. Although Billy Haley of Bill Haley and the Comets was an alcoholic, he died of a brain tumor at his home in Texas on February 9, 1981.  The people you are thinking of that died in the plane crash were Buddy Holly; JP Richardson (The Big Bopper); and Richie Valens.

@RELubber I agree, anybody can make a video these days. But that doesn't make it good. I've uploaded a video I made in 2001 as a class project in response to the crappy videos out there. Mine was made as a tribute to the song and those few singers mentioned. If people like it great, if not that's OK too. I did mine for me, to help me deal with some personal issues. Hope you enjoy.

interesting. you say I live in a bubble because I made a subjective statement. wow tell me who the close minded really is. Besides the ones before paved the way for the ones today. Yes, there are some really good artists today I dont dispute that, however thanks to videos like this the will always be remembered.
