  • I have two ford escapes. A 2001 Model with a V6 and 4wd. I Avg 20mpg in city and hightway driving and has 142k miles on it. Also have 09 Model 4cyl engine in it and avg 26mpg in mix driving. Both vehicles are easy and fun to drive. I mostly drive the 09 Model because it takes me one hour to get to work. Plus it gets 29mpg highway.

  • I dont get it when people complain of lower power and not good gas mileage. If you want great gas mileage, get a 1.3 liter car. If you want high power, get a mustang. You cannot have both in one car. Thats physics.

  • Nice color on the red tone Ford Escape

Its usually the white and sliver grey - you don' t see many of the red Escapes here in Winnipeg

  • the 2000-2007 (Japan, US) 2006-present (Taiwan) 2010-present (China) Ford Escape was/is assembled in

    Avon Lake, Ohio, United States

    Jhongli City, Taiwan

    Claycomo, Missouri, United States

    Hai Duong, Vietnam

    Hōfu, Yamaguchi, Japan

    Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines

  • zooyork is an idiot... you have a 4 cyl, v6 is 200hp not 150 and if you paid 35 grand, you're an even bigger idiot.

  • @musclerocker you lifted it and put bigger tires on it and then complain about gas mileage. just cracked me up to read thats all.

  • theres a lot of things i could complain about for this car but most people dont look for those things so the worst would have to be how underpowerd the car is even with overdrive off (i have the bigger v6 too), the lack of gears in the transmission, and the gas milage is not so good, i paied about 35 thousand for it, when in that price range i could of had a well trimed subaru impreza wrx with 265 horse power vs 150... and just as good in snow, look at your options people!

  • 0:24 exactly the same one I am driving, V6 Limited, LOVE!

  • @ericg83z

on also no problems on mine i bought mine used i owned it for two years. it has 60,000 miles on it. it is great on snow :)

  • @ericg83z

you have to be a "light foot" on it. I own the same thing. Best gas millage ive got was 23.8. thats was offroading and highway. iam not a led foot. but mix driving normally id get 18mpg a week. i test my gas millage every week. I also have the Bf good rich all terrian 32x10" all terrian tires and one inch lift. it helps out alot on offroad. :)
