  • Hm, I would never consider the opinions of racist French people when I talk about Zidane's personal cultural identity...how does the fact that racists would threat him like crap if he wasn't famous change the fact that he was born and raised in France and spent his entire life in Europe? That shapes a person, no matter how racist some people are, who would not accept him as French simply bc they are dumb...

  • 100% algerian and 0% french, fuck the racist frogs

  • @Martinez1887 I think the way you talk is also racist. ;) I think the culture of someone who grew up in one country and has his roots in another is very complicated. It can't be described as him being just Algerian or just French. Each culture leaves its marks. I am guess he probably has a Spanish side to him now too that he has lived there for so long.

  • his wife veronique is Spanish also Zidane lived in Italy. it depends which European Country you go to. Also if you're from the African continent or the Carribean. One would have to understand the Colonization and Slavery of the African continent, the Carribean and even Asia and Pacific Islands.

  • @786Resistance true but i think algeria had all sort of race mixed in the history, european, arab, berbars, blacks etc.

  • @Martinez1887 Jesus you're such a dick

  • @786Resistance You are correct.

see, you agree with me, if he wasnt a great footballer, he would be treated as a 3rd rate citizen, like blacks and arabs, which is racist, but everybody has his own opinion, you just shouldnt play for their nationalteams. because they hate him and his family, if its up to the french, they would holoaust their asses, but the politicians dont allow it

  • @Martinez1887 "racist frogs" is an oxymoron isnt it? Anyways i can only talk of my experiences in UK & France. To put it in simple terms if you are a person of colour then despite speaking the language, integrating into the culture, accepting the society, you yourself will still never be accepted. If Zidane wasnt a footballing god then he would be treated as any other black or brown person in france - as a 3rd rate citizen.
