  • @exodipus I just bought a Remington 870 tactical. Does your barrel have some back and forth movement with the barrel clamp removed?

  • @SniperRick666 I don't -think- so? But I will try and remember to check.

  • @exodipus. I'm having trouble reassembling my trigger group. The assembly does not spring forward when I load a round. It says stuck in the upward position, and I manually have to pull the assembly down. Any tips?

  • @Rucka4life1 Are you talking about the carrier (part #7 on the exploded diagram of the gun, pg 16 of the 870 manual)? Did you disassemble the trigger group? I've never taken that apart.

  • @exodipus First off great video. But, I think I'm having a similar problem. I replaced my barrel with a 20", but now the carrier doesn't raise and a shell doesn't draw from the tube when I pull back the slide. Any thoughts?

  • @sedelmeiher I'm going to have to suggest that you and the other fellow (who never wrote back) give Remington a call as I'm really not familiar with that issue, never having encountered it myself. If you figure out what the problem is, make a video and post it as a video response, or if you can't make one then drop me a line and I'll try and post some info.

  • I had a bit of problem figuring out how to get the trigger back in, until I watched this video. I had failed to cock the hammer back. Thanks for your help!!!

  • Messed up my bolt reinstalation and this video helped me fix it, thank you.

  • Thanks for the info! My capacity was only 5 and I lightened up the twist on the spring and 2 more slid right in.
