i don't feel qualified to comment after watching that, but I just realized todd rittmann must have a bass string as his low string.

i love that look al johnson has, like he's either the coolest guy in the world or the dumbest. might be about to spit in your eye, might be about to scratch his ass. and keeps you guessing.

you're qualified. Todd always had regular guitar strings as far as I could tell. I never noticed anything else. Who knows, I could be wrong, but he would have to modify his guitar to accept bass strings, I believe.

I think Todd's guitar had two cables coming from the bottom of it and I assume one acted like a bass string. I think you can see that here at about 3:33. How that setup actually worked, I wouldn't know. I think there were still only 6 strings.

yeah, i know of K.K. Rampage, good band, I like it when the singer sounds like Bon Scott. I can't find you guys on Wikipedia? I remember hearing about you guys when you first came out. If you you came out now, you'd be called metal like everybody else that comes out now. I always liked metal, especially when it was uncool. Weasel was the only one pro-metal back in the day. It was a real anti-metal scene when K.K. Rampage came out. the kids are cooler today, even with the big beards.

K.K. Rampage, if you've heard of us. We played a decent free show at Empty Bottle in December. We don't have anything lined up right now, but I'm trying to put something together at a new basement space run by some DePaul students (Waspsnest, 1702 n. Francisco). Metal seems to be the most popular form of rock music these days.

ha, ha, good one. I haven't seen D Rider yet, but I like Todd's new band. You doing any band things right now MyFairLaser? Funny to see how metal is acceptable in Chicago now. Just think, if Jesus Lizard were formed today, they'd be called a metal band or Nirvana, etc. I think Weasel was the only pro metal guy back in the day.
