SONGS: "Mexican Hat Dance", "Billy The Backward Bunny", "Snoopy Vs The Red Baron", "The Fox", "Tangalayo",
"Pick A Bale Of Cotton"...
On the day of my "45th" birthday(Feb. 15th), I decided to buy some "45" r.p.m. records as a gift to myself in coinciding with the same number "45" in both my age, and the record format. I live near a small farm town, with a population of around 1,500 and the only place to get any sort of records in town is a small thrift store that I checked out before leaving for night job. I was not going to be fussy about what was on the record, as long as it was a 45 speed record...At the store, I found 4 - 45 r.p.m. records on the children's based, "Peter Pan" label, and I got all 4 of them for $2, and the records themselves appear to have been late 1970's, early 1980's re-issues of classic children's recordings that were made anywhere from about 1955 to the 1970's.
Transferred to digital using stereo gear on background photo.

Thank you for checking these out. I was surprised at how comparable to the regular artist versions(or adult versions as they would have been called back at that time)... Many of these songs, and are definitely just not for children, but for all ages...I don't hear many kids listening to these kind of songs now with all the video game, and ipod media they have today(some is violent for them), have a great weekend...Friends, Lloyd.

Wow, this brings back memories! I used to have quite a few Peter Pan discs back in the day. I heard the Peter Pan Singers' version of "Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter" before Hermans' Hermits!
