That background music on your videos is really irritating

@ipodvideonano heres an extra tip, not sure if its the best one but... bounce down your track to one channel mono WAV in the highest bit rate for best quality? i'm pretty sure thats how producers do it then if you wanna make a small verson for mp3 use use itunes and under the advanced options select "convert to mp3"
i think its better quality then the pro tools mp3 converson cause you have more control over quality settings in itunes

cool.. they got Prince to host the tutorials

after you bounce the tracks you can put tracks in to itunes and burn those tracks to a CD.....

I just create a new track and record over whatever part it is i want to punch into. Then replace the original audio with the new punch in take.

@ipodvideonano Bouncing converts the protools session to whatever file you want to on your hard drive (if you choose "bounce to disk") This creates a smaller file size that you can then burn to a CD using iTunes, or whatever you use. You can bounce directly to a disk but I'd recommend bouncing to disk first so you can make sure everything worked out so you don't ruin a disk if something went wrong. Hope that helps!

i need extra help. lol..after the bounce, does that put it into a CD or?? cuz i wanna listen to it but idk how 2 put it on a CD
how do you punch in and ADD new sounds without erasing the existing sounds?
for example, i want to edit a drum track using my keyboard and just want to insert an extra snare but dont want to be bothered having to record the whole region again, so how would i just insert that one little snare?

@Sospiro1209 Yeah I would just add the little snare hit in without recording over and going through all that. If its a whole section then thats different do the punching in. If its midi notes then just draw another one in where you need it. If its audio just copy a snare hit and place it where you want it to be. It shouldnt be to difficult. Unless you have a full drum recording with overheads and room mics etc. Then it can get a bit more complicated. It migth sound off.

@WiNKsound Then you can try to copy/paste that little snare hit but also copy/paste the same section you did for the snare but with the room mic and overheads. This way it sounds more consistant.
Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions
